If You Can't Do Minimalist, Try for Happy
Are the holidays stressing you out? Around this time of year, it seems like we all get a little crazy. We run around trying to get errands done, decorating so our homes look perfect, over eating (yes, that's me...how many chocolate chip cookies did I munch this weekend?) We read articles on being minimal and fantasize about how great it would be to have fewer possessions, more time, less stress. But the truth is, we can't suddenly change overnight. Not in our relationships, our possessions, our communications. It takes time to make the subtle changes that we want in our lives. We can't just become minimal because it's the latest thing to do.
