Slate.com comes down hard on apparent flubs this morning during the inauguration oath, and while it's a lesson in the value of rehearsals (can one practice taking oath?) let's give everyone a break. There's a lot of excitement in the air, and I don't recall there being this much positive "buzz" about a president or a politician, for that matter, in my lifetime.
There are also some criticisms that his speech could have been more "poetic," but it's nuts and bolds time and not campaign pitching time, and I'm convinced that Obama is a very careful communicator and does everything for a reason. What do you think?
